In short: myStampingStash keeps your inventory on your own device. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and we never receive your items, photos or files. The only information we receive is what you choose to send us through this website's launch-list or contact forms.
1. The app
This section covers the myStampingStash app (Android and any other version we release) and the free Stash Viewer.
- Your inventory stays on your device. Items, quantities, categories, locations, tags, links, photos and lending notes (such as who borrowed something) are stored in the app's storage on your device. We do not have access to them and they are not uploaded to any server.
- No account. You don't create an account or sign in, and we don't ask for your name, email or location.
- Camera. The app uses the camera only when you choose to scan a barcode or take a photo of an item. Images stay on your device.
- Photos and files. The app reads a photo or file only when you pick it, for example when choosing a photo from your library or importing a stash file. When you export, the app saves a file to the place you choose. Where that file goes afterwards, such as a cloud drive or an email, is up to you.
- No ads, no tracking. The app has no advertising and no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and we don't sell or share your information.
- Fonts and scanning code loaded from the internet. When your device is online, the app may download its text fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) and its barcode-scanning code from the jsDelivr network (cdn.jsdelivr.net). Like any website or service you connect to, those providers can see standard technical information such as your IP address and device or browser type. They do not receive your inventory. See Google's and jsDelivr's own policies for how they handle that information.
2. This website
- Launch list. If you join the launch list, you give us your email address and the device you'd use the app on (Android or iOS). We use it only to tell you about the launch and occasional updates while the app is being built. The list is managed by MailerLite, which stores this information on our behalf and may use cookies for its forms. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to delete your details.
- Contact form. If you send us a message, we receive the name, email address and message you type. The form is delivered through Web3Forms to our email inbox. We use it only to read and reply to you.
- Fonts and hosting. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, and our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested). We don't run advertising or analytics on this site.
3. Children
myStampingStash is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
4. Your choices
- Your inventory: you control it. Uninstalling the app removes its stored data from your device, so export first if you want to keep it.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us to have your details removed.
- Messages: ask us to delete anything you sent through the contact form.
5. Changes
If we change how the app or site handles information, we'll update this page and the date above. If a change affects your inventory data, we'll say so clearly in the app's store listing or release notes.
